Cookie Policy according to European regulations

The website you are browsing complies with European regulations on the use of cookies. To ensure this site works properly, we sometimes install small data files called "cookies" on your device. The site uses its own profiling cookies as well as third-party services cookies used by the site itself.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small files that are stored on your computer when you visit a website.

These are used to personalize user browsing and collect automatic access and site usage information.

When the website is reliable, like our portal, cookies help to improve and speed up your navigation, as well as make your next visit easier, making the site more useful for your needs.

This is the sequence for setting (or creating) a cookie:

·         When you visit a website for the first time, it asks you to accept a cookie for a specific domain. If you accept, the cookie is saved on your computer.

·         Every time you view a resource from that domain, the browser sends the cookie.

Can cookies be blocked?

Yes, it is possible to block or allow cookies on all websites or choose the sites for which cookies are allowed.

Should all cookies be blocked?

Not necessarily. Blocking all cookies can help protect privacy, but it can also limit the functionalities available on some websites. It is therefore advisable to choose the websites for which to allow cookies. It is then possible to initially block all cookies and then allow those necessary for trusted websites.

What are temporary cookies?

Temporary cookies (or session cookies) are removed from your computer when you close your browser. They are used to store temporary information, such as items in a shopping cart.

What are permanent cookies?

Permanent cookies (or saved cookies) remain stored on your computer even after you close your browser. They are used to store information, such as login name and password, so that you don't have to re-enter them every time you visit a specific site. Permanent cookies can remain on your computer for days, months, or even years.

What are first-party cookies?

First-party cookies originate from the website you are viewing and can be permanent or temporary. They are used to store information that will be reused on the next visit to the site.

What are third-party cookies?

Third-party cookies originate from advertisements from other sites, such as pop-ups or advertising banners, on the website you are viewing. They can be used to track the use of the website for marketing purposes.

Below are the procedures for enabling or disabling, deleting, or blocking cookies on major browsers

Google Chrome

Enabling or disabling cookies

1.       Click on the Chrome menu icon.

2.       Select Settings.

3.       At the bottom of the page, click on Show advanced settings.

4.       In the “Privacy” section, click on Content settings.

5.       Enable or disable cookies:

6.       To enable cookies, select Allow local data to be set (recommended).

7.       To disable cookies, select Block sites from setting any data.

8.       Click Done to save.

If you prefer that Google Chrome does not store any record of your visits and downloads, you can browse the web in Incognito mode.

Opening an Incognito window

An Incognito window has a different look than a regular window. The top of an Incognito window is gray or blue, depending on your computer or device.

To open an Incognito window, do the following:

Exiting Incognito mode

To exit Incognito mode, you can:

·         Click on the X icon in the corner of the window.

·         Use the keyboard shortcut Alt+F4 (Windows and Linux) or ⌘-Shift-W (Mac).

·         Close the last tab in a window; the window will automatically close as well.

How it works

·         Browsing history is not recorded. Pages viewed and files downloaded in Incognito mode are not recorded in browsing or download histories.

·         Cookies are deleted. All new cookies are deleted after closing all Incognito browsing windows.

·         You can easily switch between Incognito mode and normal mode. You can open Incognito windows and regular windows simultaneously and switch between the two modes.

·         Extensions are disabled. In Incognito windows, extensions are automatically disabled. This is because Google Chrome does not control how your personal data is managed by the extensions. If you want an extension to appear in Incognito windows, select the “Allow in Incognito” checkbox for the extension.

Stored data

Chrome stores bookmark and general setting updates.

Chrome stores any changes made to bookmarks or general settings in Incognito mode.

Websites may keep records of your visit.

Incognito mode only prevents Google Chrome from storing information about the websites you’ve visited. Records of your visit may remain on the websites you visited. Additionally, any files saved on your computer or mobile devices are retained.

Internet Explorer

To delete cookies, follow these steps:

1.       To open Internet Explorer, click the Start button. In the search box, type Internet Explorer, and then in the list of results, click Internet Explorer.

2.       Click the Tools button and then click Internet Options.

3.       Click the General tab and then, under Browsing history, click Delete.

4.       Select the Cookies checkbox, and then click Delete if it’s not already selected. Select or clear the checkboxes for any other options you want to delete. To keep cookies for your saved favorites, select the Preserve Favorites website data checkbox.
